A Bibliometric Study of Communications Published in Journal of Informetrics from 2012 to 2016. This research study demonstrates a bibliometric study of scholarly communication published by Ahmedabad Library Network (ADINET) in proceedings of annual conference (seminar). ADINET celebrates Librarian's Day every year to commemorate the birthday of Dr. S R Ranganathan by organizing seminar in Gujarat, a leading state of India. This bibliometric study is intended to bring out the results of seminar proceedings published by ADINET from 2005 to 2019. This study investigated 176 papers published in Proceedings of ADINET seminar during 15 years. Study revealed that most of authors prefers to write for this seminar as a single author and out of 176 research papers 119 papers are written as single author whereas 36 papers found with double author and 21 papers published with three authors. It is also found from the study that Rashmi Kumbar and Shailesh Yagnik both are prominent authors whereas Gujarat is leading state published a maximum number of papers. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The current study conducted to quantify the research contribution of Library and Information Science (LIS) women faculty of India between 1988 and 2018. The study prepared an inclusive list of Indian universities offering LIS education by visiting its official websites individually and collected the names and other details of the LIS women faculties engaged in the teaching profession. The bibliographical data were extracted from the Scopus database during the year 1988-2018. Finally, a total of 146 research articles published by 38 LIS women faculty in India. The core findings of this study were the majority of research works published in journal articles followed by review articles, conference papers, and book chapters respectively. It was also revealed that LIS women faculty of India tend to publish more in an international platform than a national one. Dual authorship found dominating among the LIS women faculty of India. Further study revealed that P. Mahajan was the most productive LIS women faculty of India from Panjab University. The study result suggests that very small portion participations in research contributions as the current study surveyed 129 universities offering LIS education in India. However, many universities do not have a single LIS women faculty. The University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) can take necessary measures to boost up the research productivity of LIS women faculty of India. The scientometric research productivity and scholarly communication on library and information science papers indexed in the Web of Science and Scopus database from 2002 to 2021 are explored in this article. The prime purpose of this study is to find out the research productivity of three regions Nigeria, Pakistan, and India. The bibliometric quantification was used to analyze the data. The present research identifies the importance of this online journal. The study discloses frequency of publication growth, author's collaborations, papers length, and most cited papers, most productive authors, and total references used. Design/methodology/approach The survey method was used to find out the full-text research articles on the online database of LPP. The Google scholar was used to retrieve the citations. All the collected data has been analyzed using MS excel and other electronic devices. Findings The results of this study indicate that in the year 2008 to 2013. The contribution of Nigerian authors is more than the other two nations that are 226 while Indian comes 2nd with 193 research papers and Pakistan comes 3rd with 67 research articles from the studied period in the wellknown journal of Library and information science field that is LPP. The present study revealed the majority of the research articles were single authors from Nigeria 114, Pakistan 18, and India 80. The study results show that the majority of the paper length in the range of 6-10 Nigerian 116, Pakistan 34, and India 70 respectively. The study showed the total references were calculated 4140 from Nigeria, 1506 Pakistan, and 3243 from Indian. The most cited paper was retrieved by a Nigerian paper that is 197 citations. The analyzed data shows the most productive authors were Rubina Bhatti from Pakistan with 18 research papers. This study contributes to the existing literature of three-nation contributions to the Library Philosophy and practice throughout the year. This is the first study of three-nation research productivity in the well-known online journal library philosophy and practice. Limitations of the study The present study was limited to the well-known LIS Journal and research articles specifically published at online journal library philosophy and practice. This study is purely limited to the research productivity of Nigerian, Pakistani, and Indian authors to the Library Philosophy and Practice from 2008 to 2013. Practical implications Despite its limitations, the findings of the study will help the LIS professionals of three nations and as well as other parts of the LIS professionals to provide more information about their research productivity of a particular journal. Scientometrics is a sub field of bibliometrics. Mapping of research outputs on Dyslexia: A Scientometric study during 2015-2019. There are 1677 research papers were contributed by 7623 authors during 2015 - 2019, Single authors have contributed 134 research papers and Triple authors have contributed 314 research papers. The author Tzipi Horowitz-Kraus have contributed 12 research papers, Average relative growth rate is 0.027 and doubling time is 13.227. Country wide, United states have contributed 398 research papers on Dyslexia occupy the first rank and India have contributed 13 research papers occupy the 20th rank, Preferred language of authors are found to be English 1639(97.73%) on Dyslexia research. The journal "Dyslexia "(Chichester, England) have contributed 134(7.99%) research papers occupy 1st rank. Prolific contributed institutions, First Rank occupied by Behavioral Science Institute the Netherlands have contributed 15 research papers, the degree of collaboration by Subramaniam formula the mean degree of collaboration is 0.920. shows that 92% of contributions are from collaborative authors. Dyslexia research shows remarkably low by India, it is necessary to give awareness to people on Dyslexia. The funding agencies and Government of India should take initiation to encourage the researchers to contribute more research papers on Dyslexia. This research study aims to find out the research productivity of Nigerian and Indian authors to the library philosophy and practice from 2008 to 2013. The present study also finds the frequency of productivity, author collaboration, papers length, most cited papers, and most references as well as most productive authors. The present research finds the 226 research articles have been contributed by Nigerian authors and 193 papers have been contributed by Indian authors. The highest number of papers has been written by Nigerian authors was 76 in 2010 and from the Indian 60 papers were contributed in 2013. This present study identifies those 114 single authors from Nigeria and 80 from India. 116 papers from Nigerian authors those range 6-10 pages while 57 from India. The total numbers of references were used by Nigerian authors those were 4140 while Indian was used 3243 references from 2008 to 2013. The most productive authors S.Thanuskodi from India who wrote 09 papers and Dike Agah from Nigeria have contributed only 5 papers. Alcoholic drinks have been prepared and consumed in India from ancient times. Many techniques are applied to brew alcohol locally, out of which rice beer is very prominent. Scientific research has been conducted to standardize the brewing technique of local tribes for mass production and storage. This study aims to explore India's publication pattern in rice beer research during 1990-2019. This study analyzes a total of 84 papers on rice beer obtained from the Web of Science database. The distribution of literature on rice beer has been analyzed year-wise, document wise, favoured research areas frequently occurred keywords. Data were extracted through the Web of Science database related to August 2020. Results revealed that: i) 2014 is the most productive year; ii) articles found to be the principal source of publications iii) the most preferred research area on rice beer is Food Science Technology; iv) the occurrence of keywords found with the help VOSviewer. Purpose: The study is an attempt to measure the research output of Indian Institute Technology (IITs) in quantitative manner as appeared in Web of Science (WoS) database from 1989 - 2018 (14.09.2018). In addition to measure the research output, the study aims to investigate the contribution made by the IITs, the most productive authors and their collaborative attitude with highly cited articles etc. Design/Methodology/Approach: To accomplish the objectives of the study, the relevant data for the study was obtained from Web of Science (WoS) database. The bibliographical data were recorded in MS-Excel 2007 sheet for the analysis and interpretation. Findings: The research output during the period of 1989-2018 (Till 14/09/2018) was 1,36,156 in total and the year 2017 appears to have the highest research output with 13,651 publications of the total 1,36,156. And year 1990 followed by 1999 and 2000 were found with least number of publications with negative growth. Research Limitations/Implications: The present study is confined to the contribution of the IITs available in WoS database and the research results are confined to this database only. Originality/Value: The study examines the research output of IITs with special reference to WoS database for the period of 29 years i.e. 1989 - Sept., 2018. The purpose of this article was to explore the pattern of publications, using bibliometric analysis, of Journal of Documentation for the period of 2005 to 2018. The results of the study shows that a total of 687 articles were published in the 14 years period from 2005 to 2018, with 71 (10.3%) articles being published the highest total in the year 2018. The study confirmed that the maximum number of articles i.e. 304 (43.9%), were published by single authors, out of which, a large number were on research articles. Out of total number of articles published 228 (33.1%) were 16-20 pages in length. Volume number 74 in 2018 had the highest number of citations with a total of 91 (13.6%). This study assessed the research output on Bamboo for a period of 29 years (1989-2018). The web of science database has been used to retrieve worldwide publication records on bamboo research. The records were analysed using the descriptive statistics. Based on the retrieved data, various aspect of literature on bamboo research analysed and interpreted. The performance of the most productivity countries, authors, journals, Institution wise, and Growth rate and doubling time have assessed. The articles were classified as Research, review and others and grouped under 22 subjects to identify the subject coverage of bamboo research. The study found a positive growth in research and review article while very sharp decrement was observed. The growth rate and doubling period were estimated 8.5 and 8.34 respectively. Most of the articles written on Agriculture, Material Science, building technology and chemistry. M. Das (Presidency University, Department Life Science, Kolkata) is the most prolific primary author while R. Kumar (National Institute of Technology, Department of Mechanical Engineer, Silchar, India) mostly occurred as secondary author. Local and National collaboration mostly observed in the paper. Purpose: Library and Information Science subject is exceedingly pragmatic in nature in India more than a century old, which is one of the most knowledge producing and knowledge utilizing area and is associated with many of the tool subjects like computer science, statistics, management science etc. Since the subject has a very practical base therefore, both the theory and practice should go side by side. As a knowledge fabricating domain, a lot of researchers, professionals, academicians etc. are profoundly involved in the research. This research work briefly traces the Library and Information Science research stemming from India in the 21st century based on the data as depicted in Indian Citation Index (ICI) during the year 2006 - 2015 which will help the LIS professionals to get aware of the latest and emerging issues in this field. Methodology: A whole of 2,483 bibliographic data set have been retrieved in CSV format from one of the India's national level citation database i.e. Indian Citation Index (ICI) from 2006 to 2015. Methodologically bibliometric tools and techniques have been taken up and descriptive statistics methods were employed. The study also uses fractional counting method. Findings: 2,460 sole Indian LIS researchers have contributed 2,483 research papers in seven diverse categories and amongst them, 90.61% (2250) are research articles. 2015 have been the most productive year by publishing 16.63 % literatures. SRELS, DJLIT, PEARL, IJILS, IASLIC Bulletin, Library Herald and ALIS are the most preferred journals to the LIS professionals for publishing their research works. Most of the works of the researchers has been categorised into 57 micro areas. Out of them, Bibliometrics (14%) is the most significant area for the research fraternity. Other emerging areas of research are the following-User studies, Information technology, digital libraries, library consortia, library automation etc. Many of the literatures have been published in closed access in comparison to open access platform. The study showcases the collaborative research is leading in this field. The present study analyses the research output of the Indian Institute of Toxicology Research (IITR) for the period of 25 years (1993 to 2017). The study emphasizes on the various characteristics of the publications such as highly cited papers, national & international collaboration profile, Degree of Collaboration, most prolific authors, most preferred journals for communication, citation impact of the publications, most frequently used author keywords. The Web of Science, a multidisciplinary bibliographic database was used to retrieve the data for the study. The scientists of IITR preferred to publish in the foreign journals. No journal in which the research works of IITR scientists were published belonged to India. 5.73% of the total publications remained uncited. Only 0.86% of the total publications were contributed by the single authors and rest of the 99% publications were contributed by multiauthors in collaboration. The 13% of the total publications were internationally collaborated and 86% of them were domestically collaborated. The Oxidative Stress, Apoptosis, DNA Damage and Lipid Peroxidation were found to be the most active research areas as per the analysis of keywords of authors. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This paper attempts to assess the literary output in the field of Leptospirosis productivity for the period 2006-2013. Statistical analysis has been carried out using SPSS and other relevant measures. It shows that the year wise distributions of Leptospirosis records are increasing year after year except the years 2008, 2009 and 2011. It shows that 88.76% articles are of English language and followed by Spanish and French languages. It is observed that USA has contributed the highest number of records in the study period. Next major contribution belongs to England, Netherlands and India. India has the 4th position among the countries. It shows that 42.77% (5033) of all the cited records were "journal articles", 35.93% (4228) "Research Support, Non-U.S. Government", 8.92% (1050) "Review", 5.89% (693) "letter", 3.03% (357) "Research Support etc. Relative Growth Rate (RGR) is decreasing from 2007 (0.75) to 2013 (0.17) in the span of 8 years and Doubling Time (DT) increases from 0.92 in the year 2007 to 4.00 in the year 2013 in the study period.
