There are classical methods to determine the synthesis of mechanisms based on graphical and analytical procedures in which the main limitation is that the number of precision points that can be taken into account to define the desired trajectory is restricted. This paper describes the development of a software that performs trajectory generation synthesis and kinematic simulation of four-bar flat mechanisms for multiple precision points, using Genetic Algorithms as an optimization method. In addition, position, velocity and acceleration graphs are generated to simplify the interpretation of the data and to calculate the proximity between the points through which the obtained mechanism will pass. Initially, a flow diagram was developed in Java language, where the algorithmic logic of its operation is defined. Then, a flexible, intuitive, and user-friendly graphical interface was developed and validated by presenting it to potential end users. The results obtained were validated by comparing them with different mechanisms proposed in previous studies, demonstrating that the software will allow users to perform the synthesis of trajectories easier and faster than existing analytical methods.
