The present paper compares overall S&T publications output of India, China and South Korea across twenty broad subjects as defined by Scopus bibliographical database in terms of annual growth rate, national publications share, h-index, share of international collaborative papers and high-cited papers. Indicates that China has a clear edge over South Korea and India in terms of global publication share and h-index, but lacks behind in terms of share of international collaborative papers and high-cited papers.
