Agricultural product costs play a significant part in the horticultural market. In India, vegetables, for example, tomatoes have the biggest supply and price variances among farming items. As tomatoes are grown around the year, outdoor and indoor, their yields change because of various factors, it is hard to settle tomatoes' inventory and costs. Although the Government puts numerous efforts to balance out the supply and costs of vegetables, continuous meteorological changes have prompted unstable supply and price fluctuations of vegetables. Accordingly, the right anticipating of vegetable costs is a significant issue. To oblige these, in this paper, an attempt has been made to dissect the costs and yield of tomatoes in India by utilizing a Machine Learning approach. About 10.5 percent of global adult population is living with diabetes. India has 77 million diabetic patients, it is the second highest in the world. Developing countries such as India face a huge burden of diabetes and its complications. Even children at the age of five are suffering from this disease. It is high time that people understand the gravity of the situation and make themselves fit to fight the disease than to suffer with it. If diabetes is not identified and treated in right time, it may lead to chronical health issues. In this paper a machine learning based prediction model is built to find the factors leading to complicated health issues such as cardio vascular disease. This model identifies the attributes that highly contribute to cardio vascular disease and compare various machine learning algorithms to predict cardio vascular disease among diabetic patients. It identifies the best algorithm from a set of supervised learning algorithms such as KNN, Decision Tree, Random Forest, Naïve Bayes and Gradient Boosting for prediction based on several performance metrics. The algorithms are compared based on the performance metrics such as accuracy, precision, recall, F1 score, time taken to train and time taken to test. Tyre condition monitoring system (TCMS) is an emerging electronic safety system present in most of the new generation vehicles. It is intended to warn the driver when wheels are unbalanced or inflation pressure in a tyre goes below a certain recommended value. In India only limited vehicles having this critical safety system installed because it is highly expensive. The existing TCMS monitor only the tyre pressure using direct or indirect methods. In recent days the indirect TCMS using vibration signals and machine learning techniques are gaining momentum. This paper reports the effect of wheel balancing on a proposed affordable indirect TCMS. The present study goes one step forward to include the wheel balancing in the TCMS, thus increasing the scope of TCMS. The study was carried out using vibration signal data acquired from a low cost accelerometer placed on the wheel hub. The features required were taken out from the acquired data with the help of statistical feature extraction techniques. One of the most crucial stages in the building of a Machine Learning (ML) model is the evaluation and analysis of classifier model performance. The agricultural sector is the economic backbone of India and needs extensions to provide solutions to the problems faced by the farmers. This paper presents agriculture soil health analysis using Machine Learning approaches for best model and tool selection and also bibliometric analysis to identify different sources and author's keywords for finding the area of focus for proposed work. Models are built on SK-Learn, KNIME, WEKA and Rapid Miner tools using different ML algorithms. Nave Bayes, Random Forest (RF), Decision Tree (DT), Ensemble learning (EL), and k-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) are used to analyze soil data on these tools. Results show that Decision Tree model outperforms other algorithms, followed by RF algorithm which is a set of multiple Decision tree algorithms and SK-Learn tool gives better accuracy followed by WEKA tool then KNIME tool. Maximum accuracy obtained by Decision Tree algorithm is 98.40% using SK-Learn followed by KNIME tool with 73.07%, Maximum accuracy obtained by Naïve Bayes algorithm is 69.50% using SKLearn followed by KNIME tool with 68.14%, maximum accuracy obtained by Random Forest algorithm is 85.00% using SK-Learn followed by 73.06% using WEKA tool, maximum accuracy obtained by Ensemble algorithm is 89.00% using SK-Learn followed by 73.06% using WEKA tool and for KNN it is 95.50% using SK-Learn followed by 71.85% using WEKA tool. Introduction: The Indian Himalayas' susceptibility to landslides, particularly as a location where climate change effects may be event catalysts, necessitates the development of dependable landslide susceptibility maps (LSM). Method: This study diverges from traditional binary classification models, framing LSM as a positive-unlabeled learning problem. This approach acknowledges that regions without recorded landslides are not necessarily at low risk but could simply have not experienced landslides yet. The study utilizes novel positive-unlabeled learning-enhanced algorithms—Random Forest, K-Nearest Neighbor, and Decision Tree—to create LSM for Chamoli district, India. Eleven causative factors for landslides are identified, including elevation, aspect, slope, geology, geomorphology, distance to lineament, lithology, NDVI, distance to river, distance to road and residential land use. To address spatial correlation biases, instead of randomly splitting the dataset, the study adopts spatial splitting to get the training and testing datasets. Conclusion: The study reveals that positive-unlabeled learning substantially improves the Area Under Curve and recall, leading to a more conservative LSM compared to binary classification methods. Analysis shows that the southern region of Chamoli exhibits high recall but lower accuracy, suggesting a latent high landslide susceptibility despite a lack of historical landslides in this region. The study also quantifies the impact of human activity on landslide risk, indicating an elevated threat to life and the local economy, especially in Chamoli's southwestern areas. Mining is one of the most daunting occupations gain the sector since it entails risk at any point in the operation. In its operation, the main focus is on slope stability. To avoid slope failures, work should be performed in line with both the regulations and the safety criteria. Slope stability is essential in mining activities owing to slope failure putting productivity and safety at risk. Prediction of slope failure is difficult because of the complexity of traditional engineering techniques. Through study, recent technologies have helped mining companies predict slope problems quickly and effectively. In this current research, an ensemble of machine learning intelligence algorithms was used to estimate and assess the Factor of Safety (FOS). In Ostapal Chromicte Mine, India, 79 experimental and failure slope occurrences were tracked to gather in-the-moment field data. The available data were split into training and testing sets at random to build algorithms. The five influenced factors such as the unit weight, the friction angle, the cohesiveness, the mining depth, as well as the slope angle used as input variables to estimate the FOS. Selected machine learning techniques such as Multiple Linear Regression (MLR), Decision Tree, Random Forest (RF), eXtreme Gradient Boosting (XGBoost) and ensemble hybrid model combining eXtreme Gradient Boosting and Random Forest (XGBoost-RF) were developed to evaluate the FOS. The validity and efficiency of created models can be evaluated using standard evaluation parameters such as coefficient of determination (R2), root mean square error (RMSE), mean square error (MSE), normalized root mean square error (NRMSE), mean absolute percentage error (MAPE) and mean absolute deviation (MAD). The most precise model to assess the FOS across all models was discovered to be the XGBOOST-RF ensemble model, which had a high R² of 0.931, MSE of 0.009, NRMSE of 0.069, MAD of 0.037, MAPE of 3.581 and an RMSE of 0.098. Pore pressure (PP) is the most significant and dynamic parameter in reservoir geomechanics, and it optimizes well drilling in the hydrocarbon industry. Improved error accuracy for PP prediction could reduce drilling risk and hazards, and improve wellbore stability and better casing seat selection. Choosing the appropriate mud weight design for an optimized wellbore drilling is another aspect of PP prediction. Initial estimates of the vertical stress (SV) are made in the petrophysical log (especially sonic, density, and resistivity). We attempted to predict PP using four empirical models: the Eaton, Bower, Miller, and Tau models. The magnitudes of SV and PP ranged 25.87–32.72 MPa and 25.31–31.82 MPa, respectively, in the depth interval of 2548.12–2980.02 m, respectively, for linked wells at site National Gas Hydrate Program (NGHP) Expedition-02. In contrast, logging while drilling (LWD) derived actual and predicted pressures were validated with coefficients of determination, R2, varying from 0.995 to 0.998, which were used to evaluate the most precise PP prediction. Further, robust machine learning (ML) techniques, namely artificial neural networks (ANN), decision trees (DT), and support vector regression (SVR), were employed for the prediction of PP using petrophysical log datasets. As a result, numerous datasets were collected from selected wells and applied for model training, testing, and validation. The DT (best-suited) techniques produced the most accurate prediction for PP, with R2 of 0.998. This study investigated the influence of climate factors on malaria incidence in the Sundargarh district, Odisha, India. The WEKA machine learning tool was used with two classifier techniques, Multi-Layer Perceptron (MLP) and J48, with three test options, 10-fold cross-validation, percentile split, and supplied test. A comparative analysis was carried out to ascertain the superior model among malaria prediction accuracy techniques in varying climate contexts. The results suggested that J48 had exhibited better skill than MLP with the 10-fold cross-validation method over the percentile split and supplied test options. J48 demonstrated less error (RMSE = 0.6), better kappa = 0.63, and higher accuracy = 0.71), suggesting it as most suitable model. Seasonal variation of temperature and humidity had a better association with malaria incidents than rainfall, and the performance was better during the monsoon and post-monsoon when the incidents are at the peak. Over recent decades, ambiguous ground vibration induced by blasting operation can cause extensive damage to structures, lives and fields in and around mine premises. As a consequence, it is indispensable to measure the ambiguous ground vibration intensity levels for assessing and reduce their perilous impact. In this investigation, estimation and evaluation of blast-induced ground vibration in terms of peak particle velocity (PPV) through the ensemble machine learning intelligent algorithms were carried out. One hundred and 21 experimental and blasting events were monitored to collect the realtime field data in Mine-A, India. The collected data was randomly split into training and testing to generate models. Eight input parameters include number of holes, burden, spacing, hole diameter, hole depth, top stemming, maximum explosive charge per delay and the distance were selected for development of ensemble machine learning algorithms. An eXtreme gradient boosting (XGBoost) and random forest (RF) ensemble model, Decision Tree were developed to assess the PPV levels. In addition to that, four empirical predictor models proposed by the US Bureau of Mines, Langefors-Kihlstrom, Central Mining Research Institute, and Bureau of Indian Standards were applied to derive a relation between PPV and its influencing parameters. The accuracy and efficiency of developed models can be determined by performance evaluation metrics chosen as the coefficient of determination (R²), and root mean square error (RMSE). Among all models, yielded results evidence that the Decision Tree ensemble model with the R² of 0.9549, and RMSE of 0.0444 was more precise optimum model to assess the PPV. Besides, a sensitivity analysis method was applied in this current study to know the role of the input parameters in estimating PPV. This study aims to develop an assumption-free data-driven model to accurately forecast COVID-19 spread. Towards this end, we firstly employed Bayesian optimization to tune the Gaussian process regression (GPR) hyperparameters to develop an efficient GPR-based model for forecasting the recovered and confirmed COVID-19 cases in two highly impacted countries, India and Brazil. However, machine learning models do not consider the time dependency in the COVID-19 data series. Here, dynamic information has been taken into account to alleviate this limitation by introducing lagged measurements in constructing the investigated machine learning models. Additionally, we assessed the contribution of the incorporated features to the COVID-19 prediction using the Random Forest algorithm. Results reveal that significant improvement can be obtained using the proposed dynamic machine learning models. In addition, the results highlighted the superior performance of the dynamic GPR compared to the other models (i.e., Support vector regression, Boosted trees, Bagged trees, Decision tree, Random Forest, and XGBoost) by achieving an averaged mean absolute percentage error of around 0.1%. Finally, we provided the confidence level of the predicted results based on the dynamic GPR model and showed that the predictions are within the 95% confidence interval. Farmers' physical labor and debt are reduced as a result of agricultural automation, which emphasizes efficient and effective use of various machines in farming operations with the purpose of reducing physical labor and debt. It is a revolutionary idea in agriculture to create custom hiring centers, which are intended to make it easier for like-minded farmers to embrace technology/machinery for enhanced resource management practices. The study in question examines the significance of tool renting and sharing in the workplace. Rental and sharing equipment are two approaches that might be used to enable farmers to borrow equipment at a cheaper cost than they would otherwise have to pay for it. The following is a manual pilot study of 562 farmers in India to address the numerous challenges farmers face when looking for tools and equipment, as well as to determine their strong interest in the process of renting and sharing equipment. K-nearest neighbors was the most often used model, followed by logistic regression and decision trees. In order to get the best possible result, a comparison of the aforementioned algorithm models was carried out, which revealed that the decision tree is the better model among the others in this regard. Because the decision tree model is completely reliant on a large number of input factors, such as the kind of crop, the time/month of harvest, and the type of equipment necessary for the crops, it has the potential to have a social and economic impact on farmers and their livelihoods. Agriculture is one of the most important sectors in the Indian context. It is one of the highest employing sectors in the Indian scenario. Unlike other sectors agriculture is highly dependent on the quality and the quantity of both the external factors like rainfall, climate, pH of the soil, fertilizers and insecticides used, and internal factors like the quality of seeds. This paper predicts the production of crops as a function of rainfall for four Indian States. This knowledge can be implemented in generating a rough overview of how the production is based on rainfall and how much can a specific crop production for the amount of rainfall it receives. Two crops each belonging to four different states are chosen and the best regression model for the crop of the state is chosen. There is no research done solely on how rainfall affects crops of particular states. The proposed method of evaluation is better than other existing methods of evaluation as it evaluates all the regression techniques (Linear Regression, Polynomial Regression, Support Vector Regression, Decision Tree Regression, Random Forest, and XGBRegression) for two crops of four individual states. For balanced evaluation, two states of North India and two states of South India are selected.
