The article presents news briefs on nurses and the health care sector as of April 2006. A survey of graduate nurses in Great Britain found that more than one in 10 was not in health service roles six months after graduating. Nurses in New Zealand working in the primary health area will receive $160 a week less than their public hospital counterparts by July this year. A British government policy paper on community health has received a warm response.
